The number of links pointing at your website is an important factor in determining where your website will rank in the search engines. Of course, the quantity of links is not the only thing that the SERPS use in their ranking algorithms. They also determine the quality of those links, how fast you are getting them, and where they are coming from. Here is a bit more on how to spread out your links and where to get them from to ensure you get the best results from the amount of work and efforts you put in to it.
There are probably only a handful of people across the world that knows the true algorithm in which Google uses to rank websites. That being said, there are thousands of internet marketers that have had success using specific methods and ways to pick up back links. Many of us have had experience in gaining authority and ranking websites on top of Google and in doing so, we know what works and what doesn’t.
A good quality back link can push more weight than 100 junk links any day. So it only makes sense to focus more of our efforts in getting these high quality links. So how and where do we do this?
There are many ways to get quality links. First, you can comment on blogs or pages that already have high PR juice. Do some searching and you will see plenty of PR 5 and higher blogs that will allow you to leave a comment on with your back link as an anchor text.
Second, you should also seek out other Web 2.0 platforms like WordPress, Blogger, Weebly, Squidoo, and others and leave quality content on these with links pointing back to your main website. Sure they might not have much PR right away, but the search engines really value these types of sites and will give you plenty of juice over time.
You should even back link your content on the Web 2.0 sites listed above. Besides only writing articles to promote your main website, write and mass syndicate articles all over the internet and point them to the Web 2.0 sites as well.
You should also submit press releases, use profile links, and participate in forums as well. The whole concept of building authority and moving your website up the SERPS is spreading your links around and doing it consistently. Use a variety of websites, blogs, articles, forums, and profile links for the best results. And then…build links to your links. Soon, and with time you will see your website on the very top of the search engines!
